His current gamma asymmetry electroencephalography (EEG) research has resulted in two patents. Plus, he was honored with the 2019 Joe Kamiya First-Person Science Award during the annual conference of the International Society of Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR). This award is named in honor of Dr. Joe Kamiya who was the first to document the ability to noninvasively alter brain wave activity by using a simple reward system and is considered the father of modern neurofeedback.
Current research pursuits include the development of biology-based communication strategies, peak performance and the brain, development of personal attribute soft skills, and brain-based findings that inform human interactions. His cutting-edge Prefrontal Cortex Gamma Asymmetry research is impacting ipsative assessments and appraisal research protocols world-wide. He is the co-author of The Five Sciences of Self: How Personal Insights Create Transformative Impact with colleague Carissa Gwerder Collazo.

A Little About The MindScience Center
From Dr. Ron
When I first got involved with TTI’s assessments, I knew these tools worked, but as a scientist, I wanted proof that “self-assessment responses” could be tract to some form of validation. This quest led to a revolutionary response processing validation that is directly tied to real time mapping of neurological decision-making pathways. Proof of this accomplishment can be found in our 2 patents.
After implementing this process to validate and to improve TTI assessments, we now have taken this subconscious brain imaging process to the next level, thus allowing us to help individuals expose their own, sometimes, hidden thoughts and personal biases to be all we can be. This scientifically proven process allows for each of us to become more self-aware and as a result lays the groundwork for dramatically improved self-regulation.” Welcome to the Mind Science Center!!
